Aniruddha Sarkar, (b.1983, Midnapore, India), is a photographer, writer, and physiotherapist. His journey into the world of visual storytelling began after a significant injury derailed his dreams of becoming a professional footballer during his teenage years. Despite the setback, Aniruddha remained resilient, eventually finding solace and purpose behind the lens.

With an innate curiosity of the ephemeral beauty of nature, he tries to express his thoughts, emotions, and perceptions, with a thrust of unsatisfied eagerness to explore his own self as well as affection, narratives, and the very essence of existence itself.

To him, experimenting with artificial light is more than just a physical phenomenon; it is a metaphor for the human experience, presence, a symbol of hope.

He always tries to search the silent dialogue between intimacies and the insipidity of relationship, resonates in the diversity of each soul  differently, where every colour whispers of forgotten dreams and untold stories in the suspended ordinary, in the profound interplay of memory, to reclaim the time.

In his instinctive journey of self-discovery and introspection, his work with a sense of intimacy invites the viewer to step into his world and experience the fleeting moments with its natural authenticity where nothingness dissolves by embracing poetry, relentlessly.

By simply capturing the world as it appears he always wants to go to the deeper truths which may hidden beneath the regular surface, surfaces – along with the symphony of philosophical abstraction of life.
